Bear Hats

Made bear hats for the new Guildren. These were meant to be owl hats (the cool ones in a blog I found) but I got lazy and ended up with these. They were a hit and even had requests to make more!

($12 each incl wrapping & postage to anywhere in Australia)

Bec Bix

My bestie had her baby and they said oats help with milk production so off I went on a biccy baking frenzy! These are the three types of biscuits I made - white choc & cranberry, choc chip & sultana and original oatmeal.

Pay It Forward, The Crafty Way

Last January I replied to a post from one of my friends agreeing to receive one of her crafty handicrafts and paying it forward to five people who responds to my repost. It's now September and they're finally finished! I crocheted five red brooches for my five while I was at the girls' weekend spa retreat and about ready to wrap and send! :)

Knitted Dress

I saw this pattern on the Spotlight website and thought I'd give it a go as it looked easy enough.
It's my very first knitted baby item! It took a while but it got there in the end.
So proud of the accomplishment!

Little Reversible Shoes

The birth of my nephew Miguel inspired me to make these teensy tiny reversible shoes.
(the top pink ones reverse into eachother and the bottom blue ones do the same).
Once I started I couldn't seem to stop so have also made the ones below.

M & G's Baby Shower

Averaging one baby shower a month hosted so far! This one is for my brother M and his wife G's very first baby boy, Miguel. Yep, the very bub that the blankie in the previous post was made for. :)

Miguel's Blankie and Booties

Whew! I finished this baby blanket in the nick of time! I started it in Oz and even brought it on holidays to Fiji just to get it done...but it was all worth it! I love how it looks finished (and it matches the booties I made perfectly too!)

Pressies for Little Nicola

I made these headbands and origami bag for Nicola's first birthday. I had fun not just in creating them but also choosing the materials from the Handmade Markets in Canberra which I visited with girlfriends not so just a few days ago.

Shadow Boxes - Stage 1

These are the shadow boxes i made for my FIL.
They're full of wonderful memorabilia from his 40++ years at Customs.
(I hope he enjoys it when they're ready to go up on the wall).

Flutterby's

I was so psyched to make this piece! It's the first ever shadow box work I've ever done. It has pretty blue butterflies and one golden one (the one about to fly off the frame - hehe).

J at work commissioned this work for a Chrissy pressie. I hope the receipient likes it too!
